Condensate Management

Challenge: How to properly deal with the waste products from compressed air.

Myth: Special handling and disposal by outside vendors is the only method available.

Learn from us: To properly and cost-effectively deal with the condensate disposal problem common to all compressed air systems it is not necessary to have an outside waste management vendor handle the problem. A properly designed and installed condensate management system from Hope Air Systems will reduce the amount of contaminated condensate and significantly reduce disposal costs.

Hope Air Systems responds: Condensate is a by-product of all compressed air systems. The oil and water mixture that results from air compressor operation contains particulates and hydrocarbons and is concentrated during the compression process. Collecting and storing large volumes of contaminated condensate can be avoided with a condensate management system from Hope Air Systems. By separating and removing the oil, the water can simply be discharged into a drain. The remaining waste oil can be collected in the course of routine compressor maintenance.

Let's dispose of condensate

Condensate Filtration System for small to midsize systems:

  • Compatible with most standard lubricants
  • Simple, reliable operation
  • Quick, easy filter cartridge changeout
  • No electricity required for operation
  • Multiple units connect together to handle large systems
  • Multiple lines can be connected via optional manifold
  • Disposal bag provided with each cartridge

Condensate Calculator

Using the Condensate Calculator it is possible to identify the volume and therefore the cost of condensate disposal. Use the calculator to identify the daily or annual condensate volume. For help with use of the calculator, contact the Key Account Manager for your area.
