Hope Air Systems responds: Condensate is a by-product of all compressed air systems. The oil and water mixture that results from air compressor operation contains particulates and hydrocarbons and is concentrated during the compression process. Collecting and storing large volumes of contaminated condensate can be avoided with a condensate management system from Hope Air Systems. By separating and removing the oil, the water can simply be discharged into a drain. The remaining waste oil can be collected in the course of routine compressor maintenance.
