Hope Air Systems Hosting Several Technical Seminars
As Part of THG Corporation Open House and Trade Show
Northboro, MA (8-1-08) - Peter Rhoten, President of Hope Air Systems, today announced that Kaeser Compressor, On-Site Gas Systems and Hope Air Systems were each conducting a series of Technical Seminars as part of THG Corporation’s 75th Anniversary Open House and Trade Show this October 8 & 9 at company headquarters in Northborough, MA.
The seminars will be conducted each day and range from one to two hours in length depending on the topic. Factory-trained experts will instruct participants in making their air compressors more efficient in light of the increasing costs of electricity, how a proper piping system can save up to 25 percent in operating costs and the benefits of generating nitrogen for industrial processes without reliance on tanks and bulk buying.
“Today’s business owner is concerned more than ever with cost containment and through implementation of the techniques taught at these seminars they have a direct way to affect their own costs,” said Peter Rhoten.
Saving Energy with Air Piping
Joe Consoli of Kaeser Compressor will lead the workshop on air piping savings. According to Joe, the training session will give air compressor operators a chance to look at how to correct their air compressor to minimize pressure drops and to reduce compressor room power costs.
“There is a potential savings up to 25 percent with correct system design,” said Joe. The seminar will introduce the benefits of aluminum piping system that allows quick and efficient changes and upgrades.
Cost Reduction from Nitrogen Generation
Experts from On-Site Gas Systems will introduce the potential cost savings of nitrogen generators over tank or bulk buying. The seminar will examine how a company could take advantage of generating nitrogen, in their own plant, and experience savings up to 50 percent.
The session is targeted toward maintenance personnel, plant managers, air compressor operators, production managers and senior managers and owners of manufacturing companies.
Making Air Compressors More Efficient
This seminar will introduce the benefits of identifying and measuring air system efficiency. It will provide an over view of 10 key points on creating savings, both in the air compressor room, and in the plant area. Participants will better understand how compressor controls really work.
“There is great potential for direct savings when you know how to control air usage. Plus, there continue to be great savings available through government sponsored power company rebate programs for capital improvements,” said Peter Rhoten.
