Hope Air Systems Celebrates Anniversary
As Distributor of Kaeser Compressors
Northboro, MA – (March 2, 2007) Hope Air Systems, a member company of
THG Corporation, today announced that March 2007 marked its second anniversary as the authorized New England distributor of Kaeser Compressors. Kaeser Compressors is a German-based international manufacturer of air compressors, air dryers and associated industrial equipment.

In making the announcement, Peter Rhoten, President of Hope Air Systems, commented on the challenge and reward of switching affiliations from Ingersoll-Rand products to Kaeser Compressors. “After 40 years in the air compressor business, representing one major brand of equipment, it was quite a challenge to switch to a new vendor,” said Rhoten.

“We made the transition in order to improve our territorial reach and our product base to better meet the evolving needs of our customers,” said Rhoten. “As an authorized vendor of Kaeser Compressors, Hope Air Systems earned the right to sell rotary screw air compressors up to 600 horsepower and more, into all six New England states. This represented an significant expansion of the size and scope of machines it could sell and an increase in territory.

“Our associated company, The Hope Group, has been an authorized distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic parts and systems throughout New England for many years. This change permitted us to approach a natural customer pool that previously had been off limits to us,” said Rhoten.

Hope Air Systems maintains a field service department with a dozen certified air compressor technicians, each equipped with a van or truck permitting emergency and routine service response throughout the six-state region, according to Jim Levesque, service manager.

“Our field service technicians have a combined experience of over 200 years, which means we have seen the problem before and know how to solve issues quickly and efficiently for our customers,” said Levesque. “Our service technicians are the front line for Hope Air System customers and they take that responsibility very seriously. Our aim is to keep the customer’s machine up and running with minimum fuss,” he added.

In addition to the rotary screw line-up of air compressors, Kaeser offers a full line of compressor related equipment including refrigerated air dryers, desiccant dryers, membrane dryers, condensate traps, aftercoolers, breathing air systems, compressor fluids, compressed air filters, vacuum screw packages, oil-less package compressors, portable compressors, variable frequency drive compressors, flow controllers, drain traps and other compressor accessories.
