Small Boosters
Challenge: How to provide an extra boost of compressed air for the lower power range user such as commercial vehicle workshops or other shop air applications.
Myth: The low horsepower range (3 HP to 5HP) booster is not as energy-efficient or reliable as larger systems.
Learn from us: Where the lower volume of air is a requirement, the Kaeser N-Series of booster packages, provides a one-cylinder and several two-cylinder compressor unit packages that are best suited to applications where low volumes of air are needed at up to 40 bar pressure. All of these units are quality-built in-house at Kaeser, which assures Hope Air System's customers of rugged, reliable construction and the highest engineering standards. There are no short-cuts taken in the design and production of these machines. The rugged aftercooler installed in the two-cylinder machine is efficient and maintenance-free, achieving low compressed air outlet temperatures. Quick and easy adjustment of the manual belt tensioning system maintains optimum power transmission. The V-Belt design also acts as a fan to blow cooling air over the cylinder head.
Hope Air Systems responds: At Hope Air Systems we recommend Kaeser Booster Packages which range from 3 HP up to 25 HP. The smaller booster packages include one and two-cylinder models:
- N 60-G One cylinder 3 HP
- N 153-G Two cylinder 3 HP to 5HP
- N 251-G Two cylinder 10HP to 15HP
- N 350-G Two cylinder 15HP to 20HP
- N 501-G Two cylinder 15HP to 25HP
The combination of an N-Series booster and a Kaeser rotary screw or reciprocating compressor provides a cost-effective, energy-saving and highly reliable source of compressed air.
