Regenerate Desiccant Air Dryers
Hope Air Systems distributes Kaeser's twin tower, regenerative desiccant dryers, both heated and heatless. During the regeneration process, dry air is directed through the tower of saturated desiccant. This dry air purges the water and moisture vapor from the desiccant.
Depending on the dryer type, the purge is produced by:
- dry compressed air
- heated, dry compressed air
- heated, ambient air
Depending on the specific dew point requirements and energy saving capabilities, the correct type and size of desiccant air dryer can be selected.
Heatless Desiccant Dryer
Hope Air Systems recommends the Kaeser KAD model heatless desiccant dryer for moisture sensitive applications such as electronics, pharmaceutical, food processing and brewing. The heatless regenerative design produces pressure dewpoints as low as-100 degrees Fahrenheit. Solid-state controls with adjustable cycle timers allow KAD Series dryers to be easily adapted to user requirements.
Heat Regenerated Desiccant Dryer
The use of heat regeneration ensures that very little compressed air is needed for purging. The desiccant is regenerated with externally heated blown air. This type of system is designed for 100 percent continuous loading. There is a particularly low energy demand thanks to efficient thermal insulation and very low purge air demand.
Kaeser Regenerative Desiccant Dryers
Desiccant dryer performance and reliability are driven by the quality of the components. Kaeser dryers are fitted with the most reliable valves and actuators, based on years of design excellence and experience. Designed to hold up even under the harshest operating conditions, Kaeser's leak-free switching and check valves ensure low dew point performance and low pressure drop.
